On 23rd March, Punjab will not be a warrior star, Mehwish Hayat, one of the 127 people who will be given a civil award by President Arif Alvi in honor of his work for the betterment of Pakistan.
He is being honored with greatness and his reasons are clear; Hyatt, who has been working in the community for more than a decade, has consistently appeared in Pakistan's highest-grossing films (Load Wedding, Na Malum Afrad, Acting Actor, as well as many more plays). Obviously, this is not enough for some people.
Mehvish will get Tamga-e-Imtiaz, which is the fourth largest decoration given to any citizen in Pakistan. Other entertainment figures being honored on 23rd March include actor Babara Sharif and singer Ataullah Esekhelvi and Sajjad Ali, both of which are being given Sitar-i-Imtiaz. Rima Khan is getting a Pride of Performance Award.
