As humans, we dream, learn, grow and work as part of society. The society in which we are born and the society we live in shape our personal identity.
In fact, we are very passionate about communicating with each other - even beyond geographical boundaries - we developed many tools to help us find it, including pen and paper, telegraph, telephone and internet. Have done
When I asked the colleagues at the Medical News Office what are the benefits today - if any - they thought they were from social relations, most of them said that they got some comfort in social conversation.
Some colleagues said that they liked sharing the experience, while others explained that friends have inspired them to do some "healthy activities" from time to time. Others say that working with friends helps them "kill and keep things in front of them".
Even the most insight among us is also eager to socialize. But why is social, can we bring any practical health benefits?
'Face to face contact is like a vaccine'
Psychologist Susan Pinker said that direct human contact triggers parts of our nervous system that release a "mixture" of neurotransmitters whose task is to regulate our response to stress and anxiety.
In other words, when we talk face to face with people, in the long run, it can help us better adapt to stress factors.
"Face-to-face contact releases a series of neurotransmitters that, like vaccines, protect you now, now and in the future, so just shake hands and let people release oxytocin, increase your trust, and lower you. Cortisol levels, which lower your stress."
Professor Matthew Lieberman - from the University of California, Los Angeles - specializes in what he calls a "social brain," a neural activity associated with social interactions, and the brain benefits it provides.
For example, he has seen "If you learn to teach others, then you learn better than studying to take the exam."
This runs counter to the outstanding beliefs in the modern education system, which is often preferred in order to accumulate knowledge and skills in modern education systems.
