Pakistan's Tehrik-e-Insaaf leader (PTI) Asad Umar on Saturday said that instead of being worried about the United States of Pakistan, China should pay attention to repaying its debt.
In a conversation with a foreign news media, Omar clearly dismissed the statement of US Secretary of State Mike Pompey that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) funds were used to repay the debt of China to Pakistan.
He insisted that the PTI government will first keep the first China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPC) Agreement in place.
Omar also expressed how the country faced the problem of using foreign debt as a cover, and the country needed to decide how to increase $ 10 to $ 12 billion in the next six weeks.
Omar said whether it is a state or an IMF or a friendly country, it will sell bonds to foreign Pakistanis and increase the amount.
In the interpretation of economic policy, Omar said that both Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Pakistan Steel Plant (PSM) will not be privatized.
He said that the PTI would replace government companies to fund, so that they are not affected by politics.
Umar said, "According to political factors, according to the economic fundamental principles of the finance ministry, the decision should be taken to adjust the currency by the National Bank, I think the International Monetary Fund does not want to broadcast Pakistan independently, it is such a weak market. . " "In order to make companies and regional countries more competitive, the new government is planning to reduce the energy supply factories and taxes on agriculture. We will compensate the lost income by introducing wealth taxes."
A few days ago, US Secretary of State Mike Pompey had warned that the International Monetary Fund should not provide loans to Pakistan, which can be used to repay sugar debt.
The Chinese expressed their anger and said that the United States should not use the International Monetary Fund for its inherent interests, but there is hope for promoting prosperity in this area.
